Ebaide is a distinguished sustainability advocate, SDGs communicator, and legal professional with a strong track record in corporate and social impact initiatives. She served as a Legal Officer at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), where she provided comprehensive legal support and advisory services. Her responsibilities included drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing legal agreements and procurement contracts, as well as advising on a range of human resource matters to ensure compliance with legal standards. Her expertise spanned data privacy, intellectual property, and risk-based legal and policy advisory. She actively engaged in policy discussions with internal and external stakeholders, developed strategic relationships with legal professionals and development partners, and conducted legal analyses. She also advised on projects and programs, ensuring alignment with the Bank’s objectives, while safeguarding its interests and promoting its strategic vision. She was also a key member of several CBN committees, including the Sustainability Steering Committee, and represented the bank at the 79th United Nations General Assembly in 2024 as its first delegate at the Summit of the Future.

Beyond her legal career, Ebaide is a passionate advocate for sustainable development and climate action. She founded The Ebaidebheki Initiative (TEI) in 2019 and the Climate Teen Hub (CTH) in 2024 to educate and empower young people on climate solutions. Her advocacy includes SDG campaigns, masterclasses, and initiatives for marginalized communities, earning her international recognition, a UN feature, and multiple awards, including the Eco-Champion Award from YALI. As an alumna of the School of Politics, Policy, and Governance (SPPG), she remains committed to driving impactful change in sustainability and climate leadership.
